Sell Jaiprakash Associates, says Radhika Gupta, Director, Forefront Capital Management.
Gupta told CNBC-TV18, "We are less excited about JP Associates because specifically we think cement prices will continue to be under pressure. The power business they have is a little bit more interesting but there are some more interesting plays within the infrastructure sector. So something like a Lanco Infratech if you want to play the infra space specifically or something like Tata Power there is interest in the power space. The best thing to do would be to get out of JP Associate now and move into something like a Lanco." Jaiprakash Associates trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 5.21 per share. (Dec, 2010). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 17.42. The latest book value of the company is Rs 38.55 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 2.35. The dividend yield of the company was 1.19%.Discover the latest Business News, Sensex, and Nifty updates.
