The Government is proposed to provide Rs 6000 crore for PSU bank recapitalization.

SBI closed at Rs 2,632, up Rs 48.10, or 1.86%. Punjab National Bank ended at Rs 1,049.10, down Rs 7.85, or 0.74%.
