The Odisha government today asked the authorities of Bhubaneswar Smart City Mission to expedite the process and set mile stones and time lines against each component of the project.

The Odisha government today asked the authorities of Bhubaneswar Smart City Mission to expedite the process and set mile stones and time lines against each component of the project.

The direction was given by Chief Secretary A P Padhi while reviewing progress of the projects at a high level meeting here attended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Smart City Mission, R Vineel Krishna.

Padhi advised the Mission to develop a GPS-based utility services integrated mobile app for people and appropriate waste management systems.

Projects like automated traffic signalling, railway multi-modal hub phase-I, Bhubaneswar One (common GIS Platform), Shantinagar Awas Yojana and Satyanagar Institutional Core area development were put on first track.
