Varun Berry of Britannia was awarded the best CEO for private sector at the Forbes India Leadership Awards 2017. CNBC-TV18's Priya Sheth caught up with Varun Berry post the big win where he spoke about their focus on the rural growth.

The Forbes India Leadership Awards 2017 was a sight to behold last evening. Amongst the many awards handed out, the best CEO for the private sector went to Britannia's Varun Berry.

CNBC-TV18's Priya Sheth caught up with Varun Berry post the big win where he spoke about their focus on the rural growth.

"We have been seeing double digit growth as far as rural is concerned for a very long time and we hope that continues for us. Hopefully overall rural demand should come up in the coming six months," he said.
