What are loads? How do they impact my investments?

When you are talking about load you usually are familiar with an entry load or an exit load. Entry loads no longer exist in India, they have been abolished. However, you still have exit loads which are actually charged on the basis of pre-specified conditions that you do not perhaps land up satisfying. An exit load is what would determine how much you make out of as a return on the fund because if the exit load is high obviously it lands up reducing the return that you make on the fund.
