Refrain from having excesses in life, says Amjad Ali Khan

Amjad Ali Khan says he was advised by Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan not to leave lot of money for the children as they get spoiled.

Ustad Amjad Ali Khan said that his wife takes investment decisions on his behalf and he never had a financial advisor. 

Sharing some beautiful moments that he spent with one of the greatest vocalist of India, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Amjad Ali Khan says, "this was early 60s. I was very young and I was talking to him and he told me that I should never save money in the bank for children."

Though he was shocked to hear this advice, but understood that Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan thought that parents should not leave a lot of money for children as it can spoil them or make them irresponsible.
