Shankara Building Products Limited has announced the record date for the demerger of the company as September 24, 2025.
The company has fixed September 24, 2025 as the record date for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders of the Demerged Company who will be entitled to receive fully paid-up equity shares of ₹10 each of the Resulting Company, according to an exchange filing.
As per the scheme of arrangement, 1 equity share of the face value of ₹10 each fully paid-up of the Resulting Company shall be issued and allotted for every 1 equity share of face value of ₹10 each fully paid-up held by equity shareholders of the Demerged Company.
The equity shares proposed to be allotted by the Resulting Company are to be listed with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and the BSE Limited subject to the applicable regulations and the necessary regulatory approvals.
The company informed that this is in continuation to their letter dated 09th September 2025, and pursuant to the Scheme and Regulation 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Board of Directors of the Demerged Company and the Resulting Company have fixed the Record date.
