Moneycontrol Bureau12:45 pm Current Affairs: The ambitious odd-even scheme, set to roll out from January 1, will have out of its ambit CNG-certified vehicles, two wheelers, cars being driven by women drivers and those carrying the differently abled, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said today. Kejriwal said the scheme has received all the necessary approvals and a notification for its implementation would be issued next Monday. Violators would attract a penalty of Rs 2,000, he said.

The car rationing scheme would be applicable from 8 AM to 8 PM on all days except Sunday and on cars with NCR and other states' registration number plates, Kejriwal said.

12:30 pm SBI news:  Country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) said it has raised Rs 4,000 crore by issuing tier-II bonds on private placement basis under the Basel-III norms. "The bank on December 23, 2015 issued 40,000 Basel-III compliant tier-ll bonds in the nature of debentures of face value of Rs 10,00,000 each at par with 10-year tenure, bearing 8.33 percent per annum coupon and with call option after 5 years, aggregating to Rs 4,000 crore on private placement basis," SBI said in a filing to the BSE.Don't miss: Jaitley for expediting amendment to anti-corruption law

The market is still listless with no trigger in sight till year-end. The Sensex is down 19.74 points at 25830.56, and the Nifty is down 10.10 points at 7855.85. About 1413 shares have advanced, 913 shares declined, and 197 shares are unchanged.
