Control Print Ltd has announced that its promoter and Managing Director, Basant Kabra, has increased his stake in the company to 13.09 percent following the acquisition of additional shares through transmission. The transaction was executed on September 16, 2025, and disclosed under Regulation 29 of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
According to the company’s filing, Kabra’s shareholding rose from 7,18,879 shares (4.49%) to 20,94,876 shares (13.09%) of the company’s total equity share capital. The equity share capital of Control Print remains unchanged at Rs 15.99 crore, comprising 1,59,94,212 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each.
The company clarified that the increase in shareholding arose from a transmission of shares and did not alter the overall capital structure or voting capital of the company.

Kabra, who holds the position of Managing Director and is part of the promoter group, affirmed that the acquisition complies with SEBI regulations.
Shares of Control Print were trading at Rs 759.80 on Friday, down 0.93 percent within a day’s range of Rs 757-773.40. The stock has declined 7.49 percent over the past year and has traded between Rs 547 and Rs 917.50 during the period.
