Ajanta Pharma Ltd has disclosed that promoter Ravi P. Agrawal, trustee of the Ravi Agrawal Trust, created and simultaneously released a pledge on 40,000 equity shares of the company on September 24, 2025.
According to the company’s filing under Regulation 31(1) and 31(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, the pledge was created for refinancing purposes and released as excess pledge. Prior to the event, Ravi P. Agrawal had 60,07,642 shares encumbered, representing 4.81 percent of the company’s total equity. Following the pledge creation, encumbered shares rose to 60,47,642 (4.84 percent), but returned to the earlier level after the simultaneous release.

The shares were pledged in favour of Infina Finance Pvt Ltd and Deutsche Investments India Pvt Ltd, with Barclays Securities (India) Pvt Ltd acting as the depository participant. The total promoter and promoter group shareholding remains unchanged.
