IIFL Home Finance Limited, a subsidiary of IIFL Finance Ltd, has appointed Girish Kousgi as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 30, 2025, for a period of five years, subject to shareholder approval.
The appointment marks a strategic step in strengthening IIFL Home Finance’s leadership structure.
Moneycontrol had first reported on August 22 that Kousgi would be joining IIFL Home Finance.
With nearly three decades of experience in the housing finance and banking sectors, Kousgi brings deep expertise in credit, retail lending, and risk management.
His dual role as MD and CEO is aimed at driving operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth across the company’s lending portfolio.
Kousgi previously served as Managing Director and CEO of PNB Housing Finance Ltd until July 2025. He has also held senior positions at Can Fin Homes Ltd, Tata Capital Financial Services Ltd, IDFC Bank Ltd, and ICICI Bank Ltd.
