Steel remains flat in thin trade

Quiet conditions continued to prevail at the steel market in the national capital on Saturday as prices continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals to settle at previous levels. Traders said adequate stocks position against scattered deals mainly kept prices unaltered. Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne): Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,100, 10-mm Rs 43,600, 12-mm Rs 41,200, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.
