GST Council needs to re-work its priorities: Manish Sisodia

If the Good & Services Tax (GST) Bill is introduced without exhaustive planning, it could turn into a disaster, warns Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM of Delhi and a member of the GST Council. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Sisodia said that the GST Council discussions need to re-work its priorities. The Council needs to be specific while keeping the traders in the loop. The most important issue is simplifying of the tax structure as complicated structures often lead to corruption.
