The Government, on Tuesday, held an open house to discuss and bring clarity on the new legislations for the black money issue. The Revenue Secretary, Shaktikanta Das said black money law will help in dealing with assets stashed abroad. CBDT chairperson, Anita Kapur said repercussions of incompliance will be harsh and that Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) will be crucial to tackle offshore tax evasions.
