Doon valley gears up for Global Investors Summit on December 8-9

The Global Investors Summit is scheduled to take place in Dehradun, India's Doon Valley, on December 8-9. The event is expected to attract around 5,000 delegates from India and other countries. The Uttarakhand government has planned to showcase more than 15 investor-friendly policies, highlighting good governance measures, a supportive regulatory framework, and sustainable practices during the Summit. The agenda also includes Business-to-Business (B2B) and Government-to-Business (G2B) meetings aimed at helping investors make informed decisions.

On December 5, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with senior officials at his official residence to discuss the preparations for the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit in Dehradun. During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to ensure proper accommodation for the guests coming to Uttarakhand and to complete all preparations for the Investors Summit on time, according to the Chief Minister's Office.

He also stated that the event would provide a significant opportunity for the youth of the state to invest in their local area.

The Director General of Police in Uttarakhand, Abhinav Kumar, confirmed that the state had been preparing for the Global Investors Summit for several months and is expected to attract a large number of investors and industrialists from across the country and the world.
