Zuari Cements to expand footprint in north & west of India

Zuari Cements is looking to increase its presence in India. The company has plans of adding another million tonnes to its current capacity of 6 million tonnes by the end of the year.The company is the fifth largest cement producer in the world.Speaking to Cnbc-TV18, Nabil Francis, MD-India, Zuari Cements said: “We have established a new site in Sholapur, so at the end of this year we will be over 7 million tonne as a capacity. Most of the experts are anticipating a bounce in demand starting in H2 2015."The company plans to expand its footprint in the north and west of the country.
