Tanzania JV project to be completed in 2 yrs, margins good: Shriram EPC

Shriram EPC has won Rs 705 crore order in joint venture (JV) with Larsen and Toubro (L&T). It is EXIM Bank-funded water distribution project in Tanzania and Shriram EPC holds 25 percent stake in this JV.

The project will be completed in two years and margins are fairly decent, T Shivaraman, MD & CEO of Shriram EPC told CNBC-TV18. The company has an order backlog of about Rs 4,000 crore. However, going forward too the order inflow would be reasonable said Shivaraman.

With regards to debt, "Currently we have about Rs 700 crore of debt post all the conversions", he said.
