Backed by promoter stake sales of 16 lakh shares at Rs 142, Skipper Limited held with good gains on the index. In an interview to CNBC-TV18 Sharan Bansal, Director, Skipper said the buyers were L&T Mutual Fund and the deal was sealed after being in discussions for a long time. He added that the promoters were aiming at bringing value investors onboard and that they are not looking to divest any more.On the sales side, Sharan maintained a revenue guidance of 15-20 percent for FY17. He said though demonetisation has had no effect on the power transmission side of business, there was a slight impact on PVC sales.
