Rahul Yadav withdraws resignation as Housing.com CEO

Rahul Yadav has agreed to withdraw his resignation as CEO of India's fledgling real-estate search wesbite, Housing.com, the company today said in a statement.

Rahul Yadav has agreed to withdraw his resignation as CEO of India's fledgling real-estate search wesbite, Housing.com, the company today said in a statement.

The young firebrand leader has attracted controversy after getting into a war of words with chief of PE firm Sequoia India and with the Times of India group (which runs a rival property website).

This morning, Economic Times reported that Yadav had offered his resignation and in a scornful letter to its board, accusing its members to of not being "intellectually capable enough of having sensible discussion anymore".

The company today said "after some good conversations the board has reaffirmed its faith in Rahul Yadav's vision at Housing," and that the board had been reconstituted to include all main shareholder representations.
