Fertiliser stocks are buzzing ahead of the Budget on expectations of government focus on agriculture.
Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Suresh Warior, Director-Finance at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) said low gas prices will reduce subsidies.
Warior expect faster flow of money from the government.
He further said that low cost of production is due to less potash and di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) prices. However, passed on the benefit of lower prices to farmers, he added.
He said that monthly subsidy payment stands at around Rs 300 crore.
