Madras Fertilizers say government looking at revival proposal

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, AB Khare, CMD of Madras Fertilizers said that the revival proposal is going on and government is studying those proposals.

The government plans to revive Madras Fertilizers by pumping in equity into the company.

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, AB Khare, CMD of Madras Fertilizers said that the revival proposal is going on and the government is studying the proposals. "Equity pumping may or may not take place. It depends on what government chooses," he added.

However, we need capital of around Rs 500 crore for urea plant, said Khare.
