GST positive for organised sectors: Shankara Building Products

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Sukumar Srinivas, MD of Shankara Building Products spoke about the latest happenings in his company and sector.

The same-store-sales-growth (SSSG) that the company reported in FY17 was upwards of 20 percent, he said.

Speaking about store expansion plan, he said, “We have talked about adding 20 stores a year, so this year we have delivered 6 stores in the first one and a half to two months, we are well on track to achieving our said objective.”

The company has been steadily growing on the margin front. He is confident of doing better on margins.
