Foresee double-digit volume growth going forward: Kajaria Ceramics

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Ashok Kajaria, CMD of Kajaria Ceramics spoke about the impact of lower GST rates on the company's prospects going forward.

On November 15, 2017, the lowered goods and services tax (GST) rates come into effect.

Post GST, with 28 percent tax, the ceramic market fell and we all had a tough time. Now with GST rate at 18 percent it will be positive for the ceramics industry. We have passed the entire benefits and the MRPs have been changed, he said.

Kajaria Ceramics have cut prices by about 9-10 percent with effect from today.
