Expect better PAT performance in 2HFY16: Greenply Ind

V Venkatramani, CFO, Greenply Industries, says demand for medium density fireboard (MDF) will be fuelled by an increase in online furniture retail. Greenply currently has 180000 cubic meters MDF capacity at their Uttarakhand plant and is in the process of setting up a new plant with 360000 cubic meters capacity at a total investment of about Rs 650 crore, to be funded partly through mix of debt and internal acrruals, Venkaramani says in an interview to CNBC TV-18. The current capacity utilisation is 95 percent and margins would improve by 250 basis points as utilisation levels improve, he adds.  Watch video for full interview
