Business process outsourcing firm Firstsource today announced the appointment of Rajesh Subramaniam as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with effect from August 1, 2011.
Subramaniam succeeds Carl Saldanha whose term with the company comes to an end in August. Saldanha will be associated with Firstsource until the end of the calendar year, to support the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Vallance, on strategic projects, the company said in a statement issued here.
Subramaniam will rejoin Firstsource as the CFO from Walden India Advisors where he was the Managing Director. His prior experiences include ICICI Bank, KPMG, Ernst&Young, Franklin Templeton Asset Management.
"Rajesh has a deep understanding of our business, our industry and our customers. He will continue to implement a corporate strategy that carefully balances strong expense control, and investments that will drive the growth of our core businesses, ensuring that we attain a pre-eminent position in our chosen markets," Vallance said in the statement.
