Duty drawback needs 'improvement' to replace DEPB: Arvind

In a bid to address deep concerns raised by exporters on the expiry of Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB) scheme, the govenment has given its nod to extend the timeline beyond June 30. Reportedly, the revenue department will work out rates in the interim to convert the benefits of the DEPB scheme into duty drawback.
