India's largest independent power producer Lanco Infratech expects to reach the target of 15,000 megawatt (MW) by 2015 from the current from 3,300 MW. It has achieved financial closure for half of the planned 12000 MW capacity addition, while financial closure for the balance would be achieved in two-three months, L Madhusudhan Rao, Executive Chairman of Lanco Infratech said.

Rao said that they expect to list the power arm soon. Rao said, "Looking at the current market situation, we expect the power vertical to list in two years." Rao said he has not decided as to whether it will be listed in India or overseas.

"We aim the power listing to take place at the end of this fiscal or as soon as possible, if the market picked up," Rao told to CNBC-TV18
