The country's civil aviation regulator DGCA today met with senior officials of domestic carriers and discussed safety and other issues.

CEOs and President of various airlines today met with the Director General of Civil Aviation and reportedly discussed safety and other issues, DGCA sources said.
With most of the airlines facing financial problems and reports of airlines not properly following safety norms, the DGCA had ordered for a safety audit of all the airlines.
The regulator had conducted a safety audit of all airlines in December. The exercise found serious irregularities with Kingfisher Airline and Air India Express.
Those attended the meeting include Kingfisher CEO Sanjay Aggarwal, SpiceJet CEO Neil Mills, IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh.
