Decision on National Investment Board in 2/3 weeks

It seems the proposed single window clearance mechanism for infra projects- the National Investment Board could be a reality in the next 2-3 weeks, reports CNBC-TV18.

Consensus on the proposed inter -ministerial body to be headed by the Prime Minister is emerging and Economic Affairs Secretary Arvind Mayaram said that a decision is likely in the next couple of weeks. Mayaram also said that RBI could dole out new bank licences before the end of this fiscal. "We are hopeful that something should happen in this fiscal," he adds.
