Madhavan Menon, managing director of Thomas Cook expects to see 15% jump in revenues and profits in the last quarter of 2011. He is also confident about healthy traffic in terms of holiday-goers and expects the segment to grow continuously over next year despite an expensive dollars.

What kind of a trajectory are you looking at in the next quarter and next year 2012 as you operate on a calendar year basis? A: The outbound businesses were the drivers of our performance in the last quarter. Our outbound holiday business saw a substantial growth over the previous year. Q: You had a good set of numbers. How much of that we can extrapolate for the next six-eight months? A: The next important season is the winter in December.
