Steel major, JSW Steel, today said that it has posted a 9% growth in its crude steel production in January as compared to the year-ago period.
The company's crude steel production rose to 5.80-lakh tonnes in January 2011 as against 5.33-lakh tonnes in the year-ago period, a press release issued here stated. Production of rolled products-flat increased 39% at 4.62-lakh tonnes in January 2011 as against 3.34-lakh tonnes in January 2010, the release said.
