Winds of change at L&T: SN Subrahmanyan now Deputy MD, Prez

Engineering major Larsen and Toubro has appointed SN Subrahmanyan as the deputy managing director and president of the company.

The appointment comes close on the heels of the Group Executive Chairman AM Naik's recent comments suggesting that there could be a structural rejig at the top of one of the country's biggest conglomerate.

Subrahmanyan's promotion is even more relevant now as K Venkatramanan, the current managing director, and chief executive officer will be retiring by September-end.
