ED questions NSEL's Anjani Sinha; wife's role under scanner

Anjani Sinha, the former managing director and chief executive officer of National Spot Exchange Limited (NSEL) has not appeared before the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) today, reports CNBC-TV18’s Aastha Maheshwari.

Sinha is considered to be one of the key suspect responsible for the entire NSEL fiasco. Sources have indicated that he has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
While the ED is questioning Sinha, EOW’s investigation officer called his wife and has questioned her with respect to her role in SNP Designs, a company that was allowed to trade despite making losses.
This is extremely important considering that last week we already saw two arrests with Amit Mukherjee and Jai Bahukhandi who worked under Anjani Sinha, Sinha’s statements and whatever happens in terms of investigation, what takes place after this questioning is extremely important for this case to move ahead.
