A special court has ordered framing of charges against former coal secretary HC Gupta, Nagpur-based Grace Industries, two of its Directors and others in a coal scam case, reports CNBC-TV18.
Sources say the CBI by way of a charge sheet has argued before the special coal scam court that there was gross misrepresentation of information in the coal block allocation in Maharashtra to Grace Industries.
Serious charges of cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy and criminal breach of trust have been slapped against them.
The trial in this case will begin on July 4
It should be noted that HC Gupta has also been named accused in various cases including allocation scame in states of Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh.Watch video for more...
