GMR Infra: DGCA notifies restoration of airport charges for Hyderabad airport

Pursuant to the Order of the Hon'ble High Court at Hyderabad, the Director General of Civil Aviation has issued notification dated November 02, 2015 to airlines and other stakeholders restoring the collection of tariff /airport charges at RGIA with effect from November 03, 2015.

GMR Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE that GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure Company Limited, is a Special Purpose Vehicle for development, operation and management of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Hyderabad.Pursuant to the Order of the Hon'ble High Court at Hyderabad, the Director General of Civil Aviation has issued notification dated November 02, 2015 to airlines and other stakeholders restoring the collection of tariff /airport charges at RGIA with effect from November 03, 2015. Accordingly User Development Fee (UDF) will be levied at Rs 430 per embarking domestic passenger (exclusive of service tax) and at Rs 1700 per embarking international passenger (exclusive of service tax). The AICalso restores all other tariff/charges prevailing prior to AERA Order dated February 24, 2014.Source : BSE
