The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the last date to register for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025. Candidates now have until May 19, 2025 to complete the online application process through the official RRB portal, rrbcdg.gov.in. Applicants can pay the registration fee until May 21, 2025, offering additional time for candidates to complete the necessary steps.
In addition to the extended deadline, the RRB has opened a modification window for applicants who need to make changes to their submitted forms. This window will remain open from May 22 to May 31, 2025.
Candidates should note that changes to certain fields, including the selected RRB zone and details entered during the initial account creation, will not be permitted. A modification fee of Rs 250 will be charged for any changes made during this period.
Recruitment Process
The RRB ALP recruitment process includes multiple stages:
- CBT 1: A qualifying computer-based test with 75 multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness.
- CBT 2: A detailed exam that includes general aptitude and technical questions.
- CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test): Candidates who qualify CBT 2 will move on to this stage.
- Document Verification & Medical Exam: Final steps before appointment.
- The final merit list will be based on scores in CBT 2 and CBAT.

- Register as a new user by entering required personal information.
- Fill in the application form with correct details.
- Pay the application fee
- Submit the form by May 19, 2025.
- Download and print the confirmation page after submission.
