The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has announced the NICL AO Recruitment 2025 through its official notification, inviting applications for 266 Administrative Officer (AO) posts. The online registration process will begin on 12 June 2025 and continue until 3 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply via the official NICL website.
Of the total 266 vacancies, 170 posts are for Generalist Officers and 96 posts are for Specialist Officers. The specialist positions are spread across various fields, including Finance, Legal, IT, Automobile Engineering, and Medical (MBBS). This recruitment offers opportunities to both fresh graduates and experienced professionals aiming to work in a government insurance organisation.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Generalist AO roles must hold a graduation degree in any discipline. Those applying for Specialist positions must meet specific academic qualifications related to their field of expertise, as mentioned in the official notification. Selection Process
The recruitment will take place in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Phase I) – Scheduled tentatively for 20 July 2025

Candidates must clear each stage to move forward in the process. The final selection will depend on performance in the Main Exam and Interview, followed by document verification.

- Rs 250 (including GST) for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates (intimation charges only)
- Rs 1000 (including GST) for all other categories (includes both application and intimation charges)
