In a moment of immense pride, actress Yami Gautam Dhar's father, Mukesh Gautam, was honored with his first national Award, leaving Yami overjoyed and filled with happiness.

Mukesh Gautam's film Baghi Di Dhee won the Best Punjabi Film in the 70th National Film Awards. The URI actress took to Instagram and shared pictures of her father receiving the prestigious award, along with an emotional note, "Very emotional moment as my father, Shri Mukesh Gautam , received his first National Award, as a director, for his film - ‘Baghi Di Dhee’. Emotions cannot be poured in words. I am such a proud daughter. My father’ journey till here has been one of the hardest journeys I have seen & yet couldn’t deter him from his consistent passion for work & immense honesty in ethics.Your family is proud of you, papa"

She also thanked the team members for their contribution in the making for the film. "A special mention to @rabindra.narayan & @jasrajsinghbhatti for being a fantastic team."
