Sunny Deol confirms Jaat 2 with director Gopichand Malineni

Sunny Deol starrer Jaat has not received the expected response at the box office, but has definitely generated enough buzz among the audience. The film is still in the theatres, however, Deol has just increased the excitement among the fans with the announcement of Jaat 2: On To A New Mission.

Sunny Deol took to his Instagram on Thursday to make the announcement. He shared a poster of Jaat 2 and wrote, “#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2.” However, the poster of the upcoming sequel revealed further details of the action thriller.
The poster reads, Sunny Deol… Jaat 2… A Gopichand Malineni,” confirming that Gopichand will return to direct the film. The poster also mentioned the names of Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y, and TG Vishwa Prasad, the three producers of the film.
However, Mythri Movie Makers will also return to back the sequel. The makers are yet to announce the other cast members of Jaat 2.

For the unversed, Jaat Part 1 features an ensemble cast, including Randeep Hooda as the antagonist and also features Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.

Filmmaker Gopichand Malineni made his Hindi-language debut with Sunny Deol’s first pan-India actioner. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics, the film was praised by the audience, especially Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s powerful performances.
