Manoj Sharma’s life has become a beacon of inspiration, especially after the release of 12th Fail, a biographical film based on his extraordinary journey from academic failure to IPS officer. Having once failed his 12th-grade exams and battled extreme poverty, Manoj didn’t give up. Instead, he pushed harder, cracked one of the toughest exams in India — the UPSC — and today serves as the Inspector General of Police in Maharashtra.

Shraddha Sharma, his wife, is no less accomplished. An IRS officer herself, she cleared the UPSC with an impressive All India Rank of 121. The two met during their UPSC preparation days, attending the same tuition classes.
