The news of Prateik’s upcoming wedding on February 14, 2025, has excited fans, but it has also stirred emotions within the Babbar family. Aarya, son of veteran actor Raj Babbar and his first wife, Nadira Babbar, spoke candidly about his family’s absence from the guest list.

In an exclusive interview, Aarya revealed, “We are not invited as a family. Babbars are not invited. I really believe we are still close. I am not understanding how this has happened.” He further speculated that an external influence might be behind Prateik’s decision, adding, “I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He is not wanting to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone. I give him this benefit of doubt.”

Prateik Babbar, the son of Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, has been in the spotlight for his acting career as well as his personal life. His upcoming marriage to actress Priya Banerjee has been widely discussed in the media, especially after Aarya’s revelation about their family not receiving an invitation. This will be Prateik’s second marriage; he was previously married to Sanya Sagar.

Aarya also emphasized his mother’s role in keeping their family together. “My mother is the one who made this dysfunctional family into a functional one,” he said. Expressing his disappointment, he remarked, “Even if you don’t wish to call my mother, at least dad should have been called.” He likened the situation to a dramatic storyline, stating, “Life is not less than a film; someone in the house is influencing him. I don’t want to think it is Prateik, and I don’t think he is like that.”
