On Wednesday evening, the actor, currently basking in the limelight for his electrifying dance moves to the song "Tauba Tauba" from the movie "Bad Newz," shared a poignant glimpse into his past.

Kaushal's Instagram post featured two contrasting snapshots. The first image, a golden oldie, captured a young Vicky standing with a board bearing his name—presumably from an early audition. Fast forward to the present in the second image, and he's seen amidst a throng of enthusiastic fans during promotions for his upcoming film “Bad Newz.” The caption was simple yet profound: "This day, 12 years apart… nothing is overnight. Ever so grateful for all your love and blessings."

In a recent candid chat with Film Companion, Vicky Kaushal shared delightful insights into his first Karwa Chauth celebration with wife Katrina Kaif. Describing Katrina as a “Google Queen,” Kaushal humorously recounted how she relied on Google to determine the moon's appearance time. He amusingly noted, "Google said 8:30 pm. I told her the moon won't listen to Google; it will come when it wants to. Google can't predict the movement of clouds."

Vicky, who also fasted for Katrina, explained that as actors, they're accustomed to dietary restrictions, making the fast manageable. He expressed admiration for Katrina's meticulous nature, despite the humorous Google incident.

In the same interview, Vicky revealed Katrina's reaction to his viral hit "Tauba Tauba." Her approval, he said, was a huge relief. She playfully critiqued his dance style, dubbing him a "baraati dancer"—one who dances with uninhibited joy at weddings. Vicky shared, “She keeps telling me, ‘I know you love to dance. But you are a baraati dancer, and not a trained one.' That's because I get carried away, and she tells me that is fine in real life, but I need to preserve the energy for the camera.”
