Raveena Tandon has found herself in the midst of a serious controversy. Known for her longstanding career and substantial fan following, Raveena was accused of assaulting three individuals in Mumbai's Bandra late Saturday night.

A video circulating online shows Raveena Tandon embroiled in a heated confrontation after being accused of rash driving and hitting three people near Carter Road, close to Rizvi College. Dressed in white, the actress was surrounded by the alleged victims and a group of locals. The situation escalated as the crowd became increasingly hostile, with some attacking her and calling the police. One of the victims was heard exclaiming, "My nose is bleeding. She assaulted me."
In the video, Raveena can be seen trying to defend herself, pleading with the onlookers to stop recording and refrain from violence. She was heard saying, "Don’t push. Please don’t hit me," while the agitated crowd shouted, "Maaro isko (Hit her)."

Mohammed, a resident of Bandra, provided a detailed account of the incident. He claimed that his mother, sister, and niece were passing by Raveena’s residence when her driver allegedly ran over his mother. According to Mohammed, when they confronted the driver, he responded aggressively, assaulting his niece and mother.

Mohammed further alleged that Raveena, in a drunken state, exited the car to defend her driver and ended up hitting his mother, resulting in serious head injuries. He stated that despite waiting at the Khar Police Station for four hours, the police refused to file an FIR against the actress. "They asked us to get it settled out of the police station. But why should we settle scores with them? My mother has been assaulted and I demand justice," he declared. Raveena has yet to respond publicly to these accusations.

On the work front, Raveena Tandon is set to appear in Ahmed Khan’s 'Welcome To The Jungle', a comedy-caper that also stars Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Aftab Shivdasani, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and more. This film is the third installment in the popular 'Welcome' franchise and is slated for a Christmas 2024 release.
