The star-studded event was graced by key cast members including Charlie Vickers (Halbrand), Charles Edwards (Celebrimbor), Tyroe Muhafiddin (Theo), Ismael Cruz Cordova (Arondir), Markella Kavenagh (Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot), Megan Richards (Poppy Proudfellow), and Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Queen Regent Míriel), alongside showrunner JD Payne and director Charlotte Brandstorm.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set to debut its second season globally on August 29, 2024, on Prime Video, available in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and more across over 240 countries and territories.
This season continues to explore the epic tales of the Second Age of Middle-earth, delving into the rise and fall of kingdoms, the forging of great powers, and the clash with a dark force threatening the realm.
The inaugural season of The Rings of Power achieved remarkable success, with over 100 million viewers worldwide and more than 32 billion minutes streamed. It boasted the largest premiere in Prime Video’s history, attracting 25 million viewers on its first day and topping Nielsen’s streaming chart.
The series sparked a global cultural moment, with hashtags like #TheRingsofPower trending in 27 countries.
All eight episodes of the first season are currently streaming exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories.
