KBC 17 has opened on a big note where contestant Vijay Anand comes on the hot seat. Amitabh Bachchan shares a personal incident from his life where he was nervous about taking his parents to a fancy restaurant.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 started on a note where the host Amitabh Bachchan welcomed the audience.

He recalled arriving on the stage in July 3, 2000 and as a part of celebrating 25 years he mentioned, "KBC chalega yaa nahi, log mujhe TV par dekhna chahenge yaa nahi, filmon mein toh hum ek camera ke saamne hote the, yahan toh hum 10-10 camera ke saamne hote hain kahin bolti bandh toh nahi hojaayegi humari. Lekin ab aap logon se kya chupana KBC ke pehle din heartbeat nahi heat peet chal rahi thi, chaatipar... aise dan dana dan. Par aaj kya baataye apne baare mein kehna accha nahi lagta lekin hum daave ke saath keh sakte hain ke in 25 saalon mein nervousness ratti par bhi kum nahi hua hai."

He added, "25 baras, 17 season aur kareeb 1400 episodes ke baad majal hai ke itna sa bhi confidence aaya ho kabhi nahi... jaisa haal pehle tha waisa he aaj bhi hai. Ab in saari ghabrat ke beech ek he tonic hai joh na humein thakne deta hai aur na he josh kum hone deta hai, woh tonic hai 25 saalon se aap logon ki bajj rahi taaliyaan..."

He then resumed the game with Ashutosh Kumar Pandey and the first question was in which of these films does Ajay Devgn play Amay Patnaik, an Indian Revenue Service officer?
