Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is celebrating his 44th birthday today (February 25) in style. His wife, Mira Kapoor, made sure to make the day extra special, surrounded by close family and friends who poured in birthday wishes on social media.
Mira took to her Instagram and shared a cozy pic with Shahid. The photos were accompanied by a heartful birthday tribute and called the actor her "forever.”
Mira wrote in the caption of her post, “Love of my life, light of my world. Happy Birthday to my forever,” adding a red heart emoji.” She added, “ In the middle of everything and at the end of it all, you’re the one The magic is in you.”
In the blurry photo, the couple strikes a romantic pose for the camera. Shahid and Mira looked stunning in their traditional avatar. Mira exudes glamour in a silver-coloured top, lehenga, and jacket. Meanwhile, Shahid complements her in a black Indo-Western outfit.
Shahid and Mira tied the knot on July 7, 2015. The couple’s marriage was arranged. They are parents to two children, daughter Misha and son Zain Kapoor. Misha was born in 2016 and Zain was born in 2018.
Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter also wished his bhai and shared a series of their unseen photos on his Instagram.
In the first photo, a young Shahid can be seen carrying baby Ishaan in his arms. In the second photo, the grown-up brothers posed for the cameras after bathing in the river.
The post also featured toddler Ishaan sitting on Shahid’s lap while the actor read the newspaper for his little brother. Alongside the photos, Ishaan wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, “Not much has changed! Still stealing your clothes. Happy birthday to the supernova big bro.”
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Rosshan Andrrews’ action-drama Deva. He will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Arjun Ustara. The film will also star Triptii Dimri.
He is also reported to star in Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues, directed by Sachin B. Ravi. Shahid will bring the legendary character to life in the upcoming film promises to deliver epic storytelling and intense action sequences.
