Popular Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans' wife, Resham Kaur, died on Wednesday afternoon. She was 62. She was battling a prolonged heart-related illness. She took her last breath at around 1 pm on April 2 at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar.
The Hans family mourned the loss of Resham Kaur with their close relatives and friends, gathering at their residence to offer condolences. Sadly, her demise comes just shy of her and Hans Raj Hans' wedding anniversary on April 18.
According to PTC reports, sources have revealed that Resham Kaur had been battling heart-related issues for some time and was recently hospitalized at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar. She reportedly underwent a stent procedure.
Despite medical treatment, Resham’s condition didn't improve, and she lost the battle to her illness this afternoon.
Resham Kaur was notably related to Bollywood singer Daler Mehndi. Her son, Navraj Hans, is married to Daler Mehndi’s daughter, Ajit Kaur.

According to her brother, Paramjit Singh, Resham had been hospitalized for five days prior to her passing. Her funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 am in Shafipur, the ancestral village of her husband, Hans Raj Hans.
Hans Raj and Resham’s son, Yuvraaj Hans, paid tribute to Resham on Mother’s day on Instagram. He expressed his gratitude for his mother's unwavering support. Alongside a playful video of his mother, Yuvraj highlighted the selfless and unmatched love that mothers have for their children.
Resham Kaur is survived by her husband, Hans Raj Hans, and two sons, Yuvraaj Hans and Navraj Hans.
