Radhika Merchant's bridal ensemble, orchestrated by the creative collaboration of Rhea Kapoor, Abu Jani Sandeep, and artist Jayasri Burman, unfolds as a vibrant saga of art and fashion. The Lehenga, a canvas of twelve meticulously hand-painted panels on special Italian canvas, embodies a fusion where haute couture meets artistic expression. Designed to encapsulate the essence of new beginnings and the joy of union, the ensemble radiates with hues meticulously layered by Jayasri to evoke depth and meaning.

The lehenga showcased meticulous craftsmanship with intricate hand embroidery in real gold zardozi. Sparkling sequins adorned the intricate details of Jayasri's artwork, creating a mesmerising play of light and texture. Radhika complemented the ensemble with a blouse meticulously hand embroidered in resham by the skilled artisans of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, adding a touch of timeless elegance to her bridal attire.
Designer duo Abu Sandeep said, “Radhika is a gorgeous young lady and her smile illuminates an entire room! It is our intention to make her the happiest bride with this outfit. We are honoured to have been a part of this collaboration that features the ideal juxtaposition of hand-embroidery with art. Because art and fashion have always been lovers. One cannot exist without the other. And so it becomes the perfect ode to the perfect couple that is Anant and Radhika.”

“Abu Sandeep are artists. The only difference is that their medium is couture while mine is canvas. Both Rhea and Abu Sandeep gave me total creative freedom and understood my essence as an artist. I found my brush dancing all over the canvas. My only hope now is that it inspires a smile on Radhika’s face and maybe someday, we’ll even see it hanging on her wall!,” Jayasri expressed.
Rhea Kapoor, Radhika’s stylist, added, “It’s an honour and privilege to work with three legendary artists. Jayasri Burman, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. I have been dreaming of creating something like this for almost a decade but never actually thought it would become a reality. I am forever humbled by the experience and grateful to my beautiful muse Radhika and everyone involved.”
