Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’s affair with a fellow employee was recently exposed in front of the world during a Coldplay concert. They were featured on the Jumbotron during the Music of the Spheres concert in Wisconsin, garnering hilarious memes and backlash.
After Andy Byron’s video went viral on social media, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin issued a warning to his live audience during the July 20 concert at Camp Randall Stadium.
He said, “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen.” Chris added, “How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”
The singer further added with a laugh, “Please, if you haven’t done your makeup… do your makeup now!”
Chris Martin’s latest warning came after Chris pointed out an unsuspecting couple on the big screen during his concert in Massachusetts on July 16, the woman quickly turned away and covered her face. Meanwhile, the man, who is reportedly the CEO of Astronomer, dropped to the floor to avoid being seen on camera.
The singer joked at the time, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy.” He then expressed his remorse over unintentionally calling them out and added, “Oh shit, I hope we didn't do something bad.”
Andy resigned from his position at Astronomer just three days after the executive’s alleged affair made headlines. Meanwhile, Andy Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, dropped his last name and deactivated her social media accounts following the affair.
