Maharaja is a Tamil-language action thriller released in 2024, directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, who co-wrote the script with Raam Murali. Produced by The Route, Think Studios, and Passion Studios, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, alongside Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami Gopikumar, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Sachana Namidass, Manikandan, and Bharathiraja.

Maharaja is a Tamil-language action thriller released in 2024, directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, who co-wrote the script with Raam Murali.

Produced by The Route, Think Studios, and Passion Studios, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, alongside Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami Gopikumar, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Sachana Namidass, Manikandan, and Bharathiraja.

The film was officially announced in February 2023 under the working title VJS50, marking Sethupathi's 50th film as a lead actor. Principal photography began the same month and was primarily shot in Chennai. The official title was revealed in July, coinciding with the wrap of filming and Think Studios joining as co-producers. The film features a musical score by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman, and editing by Philomin Raj.
